An Immersion Photo Tour Into The World’s Greatest Nomad Culture

June 25 – July 9, 2017

Until recently Mongolia was sealed off from the rest of the world. The mere mention of its name connotes the ultimate in remoteness and isolation. But in the Twenty First Century Mongolians are swelling with pride and are excited to share their land with adventurous travelers on a limited basis to experience first hand the amazing legacy of Genghis Kahn.

This one of a kind photo tour created specifically for experienced photographers who are seasoned travelers will have you spending time with a nomadic family, traveling in a camel caravan in the red sand dunes of Khongor, living in “gers”, photographing in Karakorum the ancient 13th Century capital, attending the games of Naadam, the legendary annual festival with endless opportunities to capture unbelievably authentic images and much more.

Mongolia – a virtual paradise for photographers.

The ecology of Mongolia has experienced almost no impact or scars from the environmental damage virtually the rest of the world has been subjected to. You will be privileged to experience and photograph endless steppes, vast deserts, rugged mountains, crystal clear lakes and abundant wildlife. All in their pure natural state

After being nomads in a harsh environment for many centuries the Mongolian people regard hospitality as a matter of important national pride. Saying that you will be welcomed as a cherished guest is not a marketing claim; it is a reality that must be experienced. Their faces, everyday costumes and the way they live will make for images of a lifetime.

We urge you to read the detailed itinerary to learn of all the amazing places we will be visiting and photographing. While every step has been taken to make accommodations, food and transportation as comfortable as possible for westerners, we will be traveling in very remote areas at times requiring all participants to have a flexible nature.
