This is an initial itinerary which we suggest for an extraordinary photo tour and can be customized for your dates and interests.
Have you wondered how it must have been traveling around Europe with a camera seventy years ago right after WWII? Incredibly, we’re now offering that kind of photographic and cultural experience available to photographic adventurers.
Albania along with Kosovo and Macedonia were until very recently an almost forgotten corner of the world and they are just opening up for exploration. There you will find some of the most pristine destinations for photography anywhere.
Outside of Tirana, the historic and increasingly sophisticated capital city, you will find small white Ottoman villages climbing up a hill to castles. On the outskirts are gnarled ancient olive trees tended by stolid farmers. You will have sunrise shoots in unspoiled fishing villages and sunset shots over craggy mountains. You will be able to capture both mystical Sufis and mysterious Orthodox monks at prayer as well as farmers and villagers in their everyday traditional local dress.
